A food sensitivity blood test I had came out that I had a severe sensitivity to gliadin, the protein that makes up gluten. I went on a gluten-free diet for a few months and it only made me depressed because I wasn't eating very much and it did not help with my inflammation itchiness symptoms.

Eliminating gluten made a major change in my overall pain. It used to burn all day every day and be very sensitive to movement, contact, urination, etc. Going gluten-free didn't cure me, but it did reduce my pain by maybe two-thirds overall.
