When my blood sugar is stable, I am less likely to get a migraine. I am hypoglycemic so maintaining proper glucose levels is critical to my well-being.

I also tend to get headaches/migraines upon skipping meals. But all too often I get them anyway. An endocrinologist administered a glucose-intolerance test and found that I was hypoglycemic. Since then I have been 100% diligent in monitoring my glucose levels throughout the day. So far there isn't a direct correlation to my headaches. The cause is still undetermined.

I had to make sure I ate breakfast - skipping it would increase my chance of getting a migraine in the afternoon.
