it made me so dizzy I literally fell over. just bending or sometimes even slightly turning my head will make me just spin out of control. I was in a class with frail, unhealthy people at the time, which was pretty sad, (I was 39 then) and thought it would be perfect for me. but I sucked. exercising makes it much more exagerated for me

Yoga has been such a huge aid in coping with migraine I am taking a certification course. Be careful of shoulder stands back bends..poses such as bridge or wheel. Anything the bends the neck back has not been good for me. I am currently studying why it is effectice. At anyrate I have less anxiety about my migraine and a reduction of severity and at time frequency. The key is however to LISTEN TO YOUR OWN BODY. If soemthing doesn't feel good in a class get out of the pose and do soemthing else. I for example, can do a perfectly aligned supported shoulder stand , but for now it makes me feel worse. It's my body. It's a mystery is it the breathing/ The chiropractict side..the flushing out of toxins? is it the time for my self..the meditative quality? I don't know but I practice regularly 3 or more time aweek for 1 hour or more and didn't see improvement until 3 months in. Yoga is not a quick fix and I understand not for evryone one but if you arer unning outof options try it. Maybe it won't help your headaches but you will get healthier!
