Only used when I have very bad headaches and I need a quick relief. My doctor gives me the pred. pack. I don't like to use them unless absolutely necessary.

this works when in go into a migraine cycle that lasts for several days on-end.

Had major attack which had lasted over a week. It worked fairly quickly but steroids do have side effects. Talk to the Dr. about these prior to taking oral or IV therapy. be prepared to feel HUNGRY and tense.

this used by IV during rescue, horrible side-effects, takes several weeks to clear out of my system and get back to normal

Major improvement while on drug, migraine after completing prednisone pack.
