Got horrible rebound after using Zomig for several years. I had to quit cold turkey for 3 months to stop the cycle; it's one of the most painful things I've ever had to do.

The effectivness of Zomig has varied, depending on the sevarity of my migrane. Sometimes it helps alot, other times, it has done nothing at all. I prefer Aleve for everyday migraines and headaches (or Excedrin Migraine as well) but both are not available in Canada. For severe migraine, I require a trip to the emergency dept of the hospital for an injection of liquid Toradol.

excellent prevention of headaches with 200mg of riboflavin(vit b2). To abort the attack I use Excedrin Migraine, the triptans do not work for me. Sleep is also a good alternative if I am at home. It is a good idea to keep a headache diary and see if you can pinpoint trigger foods. I have had to eliminate parmesan cheese and red wine from my diet.
