I have low magnesium and have to take supplements.

magnesium citrate will cause diarrhea; however, if you go to the pharmacists and ask for magnesium oxide you will not have this problem. I take 400mg/day. Its available without a prescription but you do have to ask for it.

Was supposed to help, I tired this, didn't work at all. Even opened the capsule under my tongue. No effect.

Take this daily. Don't know if magnesium is helping or if it's a combo of my daily vitamins. But it definitely counteracts all the constipation the other drugs will cause. I know that if I don't take my combo of daily vitamins (250mg of magnesium in there) I feel like junk.

Had one Dr suggest this, but just gave me diarrhea, no effect on migraines.
