I think it helps more with overall health/relaxation rather than migraine specifically. have had a migraine start after a massage therapist worked too much on my neck

The relief is only temporary when the massage ends, back to the pain.

Depends on the therapist. Sometimes massage helps, sometimes I end up with one. I usually would not go get a massage with a migraine - especially not a full blown one. I do it more for maintenance.

1 out of 5 massages seems to have helped moderately (usually back massage as well). BUT 4 out of 5 times it only feels great while happening and as soon as the massage is over, pain all comes back the same.
